Glue Down Installation: With this method planks are installed after glue is spread over the entire area each plank will cover.
Advantages:
- Solid installation method
- Transitions to other floor surfaces are easier
Disadvantages:
- Very sensitive to any moisture in the subfloor
- Higher costs for glue
